Only 20 minutes from the Mississippi River, Elkader sits on the western edge of the Driftless Region and provides some of the most beautiful scenery in Iowa. Rolling hills, striking views, and historic towns await you in Clayton County. Elkader is located in Northeast Iowa about an hour and a half north of Dubuque and Cedar Rapids.
